DJ Culture’s last day of operation as a retail store

“September 30, 2012 will be DJ Culture’s last day of operation as a retail store”

Closing announcement from DJ Culture co-owner, better known as Simply Jeff:

It has been an honor to serve the EDM scene for the past 10 years as a retail storefront in the OC. I will especially remember all the unbelievable people we have met at the shop and at our events. From our first location in Costa Mesa to our present location in Huntington Beach, it was an incredible ride and it would not be possible without you! September 30, 2012 will be marked as a sad day in my life, but I look forward to happier days as I concentrate on new duties that need my undivided attention.
Myself, Russ and John would like to thank everyone for all the support over the past 10 years and will cherish all the good times we have shared with you.

We now pass the torch to the new store called “BEAT SYNC ACADEMY”. This new store will be owned and operated by DJ Culture’s longtime store manager Bryan Mizota. Myself, Russ and John will not hold ownership with the new store, but fully endorse and encourage you to support “BEAT SYNC ACADEMY”.

All the same services and inventory will still be available including: event ticket sales, DJ & production lessons and unique retail inventory catering to DJs, music fans & party people alike. The new store will also have new location, which is STILL in the Old World Village shopping mall (Huntington Beach). “BEAT SYNC ACADEMY” will open its doors in Unit 20 just around the corner from DJ Culture! There will be no downtime and the phone number will be the same.
