Is he really Swedish? The answer is unmistakably yes. Egil's career began as a club DJ in Scandinavia and Europe. In the 80s, Egil created an overnight buzz on L.A. radio on KROQ-FM, breaking many alternative artists including NIRVANA, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, and UB40. He continued his manic devotion to new music in the 90s as Music Director at MARS-FM, then as founder of GROOVE RADIO, dedicated to club and DJ culture with artists such as MOBY, FATBOY SLIM, and THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS. Today, Swedish Egil is soaring ever higher on GROOVERADIO.COM and as DJ/Artist spinning at top clubs and events, and remixing records for Paul Oakenfold's PERFECTO label. You can also catch Egil's distinctive radio voice nationwide on Sirius XM Radio and as co-host of weekly mixshow "Powertools" (Power 106FM Los Angeles).

Thee-O has always been ahead of his time, as a DJ, label owner, producer, and a re-mixer. He has been heralded as one of the most popular and hardworking DJ’s in Los Angeles. Thee-O has been deemed the Godfather of the dance culture due to his longevity as a L.A. DJ since 1992. A musical entertainer since he was in pre-school, a mobile DJ since he was 13, a king of Goa and a Master of Trance and Techno in his twenties, and now a house-music veteran, DJ Thee-O of Los Angeles, radiates his musical mastery in the global electronic scene.

He has performed for Insomniac, Motive, Fresh, Krave, Magic Ent., Flash events, and was a long time partner in So-Cal's legendary crew Addicted Events. He owns & operates Phunked Up Records, with 9 EP releases to date. His dedication to the underground can be experienced on each dancefloor he performs to and connects with.
